What is SEO?

What is SEO?, since I started my career path as a webmaster of one biggest online marketing here in the Philippines, I haven't known yet the meaning of SEO and how it can help my website to have a higher traffic. By the way, according to my research SEO means,

SEO is one of the key Web Marketing activities and can target different kinds of searches, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.

SEO considers how search engines work and what people search for. Optimizing a website primarily involves editing its content and HTML coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines.

Sometimes a site's structure (the relationships between its content) must be altered too. Because of this it is, from a client's perspective, always better to incorporate Search Engine Optimization when a website is being developed than to try and retroactively apply it.

Another class of techniques, known as black hat SEO or Spamdexing, use methods such as link farms and keyword stuffing that degrade both the relevance of search results and the user-experience of search engines. And yes indeed, google phone has finally revealed to the public and this phone is look alike

T-Mobile USA showed off the G1, a phone that, like Apple Inc.'s iPhone, has a large touch screen. But it also packs a trackball, a slide-out keyboard and easy access to Google's e-mail
and mapping programs.

T-Mobile said it will begin selling the G1 for $179 with a two-year contract. The device hits
U.S. stores October 22 and heads to Britain in November and other European countries early next year.

The phone will be sold in T-Mobile stores only in the U.S. cities where the company has rolled
out its faster, third-generation wireless data network. By launch, that will be 21 cities,
including New York, Los Angeles, Houston and Miami.

Google company investing and targeting the mobile industries because many country as of now the primary gadget that they used is mobile phone. Especially here in the Philippines that almost
Filipino people have own cellphone even the younger one. So google think that they can used the
mobile phone for more advertising medium to be used and targeting the individual.

And Both Yahoo Inc. and Microsoft Corp. also are investing heavily in the mobile market in hopes of preventing Google from extending the dominance it enjoys in searches initiated on PCs.

In an interview, Google co-founder Sergey Brin said Google's aims are broader than mobile advertising.

Wii Portable

As you can see to my previous post, is about PS3 portable and now this post is about Wii.

Yes a Nitendo Wii goes portable, and he called it Wii Laptop. I don't know if he assemble it but my opinion to this is, we all know that nitendo wii is made up of wireless joysticks so we can play and at the same time do an exercise because we play that in a distance way and all of the games there are all about sports, correct me if I'm wrong. And I don't think if you can enjoy your gaming if you can only see a small monitor or an lcd and doing your move like he does.

hey guys! is only my opinion but I admit He is a good engineer to make that wii laptop, if he is.

What's new with google?
Last month Firefox internet browser lanched their new version of browser and they set a Guinness World Record for the most software downloaded in 24 hours. From 18:16 UTC on June 17, 2008 to 18:16 UTC on June 18, 2008, 8,002,530 people downloaded Firefox 3 and are now enjoying a safer, smarter and better Web.

And now as you can see my figure above. Google.com show us the BEta version of their own internet browser called Google Chrome and especialy for windows user.

Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier. With one box for everything and a thumbnails feature for the top sites.

You can now download and test it and see it for yourself what are they trying to say or to show to all internet user all over the world.

Well, If you try to search the cuil.com in the google.com site, you will find the title page say that,

Electric Jeepney

Nowadays,Philippine economic system is one of the fastest-growing economies in southeast asia.
Producing newly industrialized emerging market economies of the world. Actually in 2007, Philippine was ranked as the 37th largest economy by the international monetary fund according to purchasing power parity.

In the Transportation sector of the Philippines. Mostly Philippine land transportation vehicles are imported, except for the JEEPNEY and tricycle which are locally made. Jeepney is the main
transportation vehicles in the country and because of the continues increased of price main source of vehicle oil. The Greenpeace group introduced the "Electric Jeepneys".

As you can see from my figure above, the looks of the electric jeepney is derive from the local
jeepney in the Philippine but not exactly the same. And the good news is, the electric jeepney passed the Land Transportation Office examination and will now go through the road with the orange color of car plate so that it will noticed that this vehicle is consuming electric energy.

Wire Framing a Website

Usually this kind of technique or method is used in a visual presentation of an electronic representation of a three dimensional or physical object used in 3D computer graphics. But you didn't know that this method is can be used also in web developing structure.

Using wire framing method allows you to visualize of the underlying design structure of your on going project in web designing. Like what you see in my figure above. You can see where your link to be linked so that you can avoid the error in your backlinks.

Since wire frame renderings are relatively simple and fast to calculate, they are often used in cases where a high screen frame rate is needed. And the wire frame format is also well suited and widely used in programming tool paths for DNC (Direct Numerical Control) machine tools.

So if you practice this wire framing a website, it could extremely helpful for you in keeping you focus on the content first and foremost.And Once you worked that out, you can then begin to add to the wire frame the skin (i.e. the graphic designed) that supports your content. By doing your site map first, you can sketch out a quick signal flow diagramm of the pages contained in the site. You can hand-drawn your site map or you could use a program like Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand.

Sony Ericson products have been successfully hit the communication industries here in the Philippines. For all we know, Sony Ericson mobile phone is one of the most consumer choice when it comes to brand.

And now, For those who didn't know, Sony Ericsson thinks it's the radio people in emerging markets need the most, hence they've announced two good looking FM and AM radio equipped devices - R300 candybar and R306 clamshell. Both phones are "designed to deliver a credible radio-listening experience" and also sport a dedicated loudspeaker… in stereo in the case of the R306 Radio. The CMS framework of Joomla is used for publishing content on the world wide web as well as intranets. The system includes features such as page caching to improve performance of your sites, RSS feed for blogging, website searching and many more.

And one good thing about Joomla is that, Joomla is licensed under the General Public License and a result of a fork of Mambo. Yes! this is an open source CMS framework and always available for personal or business used.

Joomla is so simple to used, just go to the joomla official website which is joomla.org and download the stable version of joomla then extract it to used localhost , but before you start installing it, make sure that you have already a setup of your own server or localhost. To do that open your firefox browser and go find to google the site for XAMP or WAMP and download it when you found it.

I'm not going to elaborate more about how to install joomla because it so stressful and it so hard to explained too, cause I'm also a newbie about joomla cms that's why.

But all I can say is joomla make a big hit for me not just because its easy to install and used but at the same time this is an open source that can create a big community of friends.

I'am Using Dreamweaver 8 for coding!!!

Macromedia Dreamweaver version 8 software is what I'm using as my web editor but I'm never used it in the designed mode ever. Because I want to make a designed through coding in order to enhanced more my knowledges for developing websites.

Many web developer as of now don't want to used Dreamweaver, or Dreamweaver 8 to be exactly, because they don't want to be called "WYSIWYG developer", What You See Is What You Get developer, I don't know why, but I guess they have own reason.

But base on the experience of those WYSIWYG developer, a WYSIWYG editor produces files of large sizes. The web page may take a bit longer to download. And the HTML code generated may not be compliant with existing web standards. Some of these editors are meant for web sites to be hosted with particular servers.

But to those beginners for making web designed, its fun to create web pages this way. You can do it yourself, experimenting with colors and layouts. The web page is likely to be unique, unless you are trying to clone another web page.

And my only advice to those who want to try this software, Is to try themselves to designed in Code mode and minimal in designed mode for you to challenges yourself if you only want to.

Month of February 14, 2005. AJAX was born and changed the web. And as the matter of fact AJAX helped WEB 2.0 or internet a happier place to be now. AJAX two year old today and when it first came on the scene, it was a neat toy. Don’t deny it, you tried it out to make something like a auto-completion search box or pulling in content from a server-side text file but good thing they were wrong. Other developers, ones fascinated by the potential Ajax had, took things even further.

Today marks the passing of two years since Jesse James Garrett posted online his seminal essay, "Ajax: A New Approach to Web Applications" and then went offline, on a trip. What he came back to is now a part of Web 2.0 and Rich Internet Applications history: it was as if simply giving a handy name to the technique behind a new, richer web somehow catapulted it into being.

Of course it wasn't that simple. The techniques Garrett encapsulated in his acronym had been in use by others before him, but never won for themselves a name. So when he came up with the easy-to-remember, easier-to-spell "AJAX" what happened was the same that happens when a match is dropped on the floor of a bone dry forest.

That "the AJAX wildfire" (a phrase coined by the founder of Nexaweb, Coach Wei) spread faster than Garrett, or indeed anyone else, had expected is now axiomatic. What is JQUERY? By the way, my friend showed me this kind of tools. And this tools is new specially for me as a beginner web developer. As I read about JQUERY documentation, I found out that this is a new type of JavaScript Library. A fast, concise, JavaScript Library that simplifies how you traverse HTML documents, handle events, perform animations, and add Ajax interactions to your web pages


And for me this is a very useful tool, because you don’t have to put so many code of JavaScript in your site or make code from the start. You can now reuse it or code it easily in order to make a shadow effects, datepicker like the one you used in Visual Basic, table sorting, zooming picture, draggable and resizables functions, etc. where all of this you can code in a easy to understand javascript code.

How nice to received an e-mail from paypal, specially when its talk about money. I have already paypal account but sad to say I’ve didn’t tried to used it because I don’t have credit card or cyber account like Union Bank offers, its called “ EON CARD”.

VISUAL BASIC 6.0 PROGRAMMER

It’s been a hard time for me when I became a Visual Basic 6.0 programmer, I mentioned Visual Basic 6.0 because I’m not using VB5 and most of all VB.NeT or other version of it. But my dream is to become a Visual Basic Programmer since when I started to take a technology course, which is Micro Computer Technology. And when I graduated, my first job was a computer technician, but I’m not disappointed of what my job was.

And to make the story short, I became a VB6.0 programmer until now but my thinking is to update my knowledge to WEB DEVELOPING because of what IT demand all over the world and especially here in the Philippines where I belong. And if you heard about the WEB 2.0 and the dominating search engine of Google and you have the desire as a programmer, it would come to your mind of switching to another level of programming language. Maybe other may react of what I write here, but I don’t care, it’s my opinion guys, make your own opinion online (hehehe) it’s a joke of course.

But if you are a techie person, you will understand what I’m talking about here, pardon to those who didn’t techie people, but thanks to you for wasting your time to read this, that’s all folks back to work, back to head bangs in programming dude.

According to my searched information, Daniel Dingel is an engineer who worked from NASA and he developed a car, not just an ordinary car but also a water-powered car that uses plain tap water or seawater for energy fuel. And this technology of Daniel Dingel contributes the Filipino Inventions to be known all over the world, even some saying that they are invented that too.

Other than that, if our government supports this kind of technology, I can proudly say that we will never have an oil price hike and our environment would be stop from being polluted because of bad smoke came from vehicles. But in truth, maybe! They would not support that kind of technology because many investors and company here would be affected their business.

Sad to say that dude, but I’m still proud that there’s a Daniel Dingel proud being Filipino and I think He will continue what he started and he will fights for his right to be known an Filipino inventor and to support Filipino people.
